Meet Antonio Velez, aka Coach Tino: One of Chicago's Premier Fitness Trainers.

Chicago Fitness Training is operated by Professional Fitness Specialist Antonio Velez.  
Antonio is a career graduate of Ashworth University in professional fitness, and has been
nationally certified by The National Exercise Trainers Association, and The International
Fitness Professionals Association since 2002.  He also holds specialty certification as an In
Door Cycling Instructor, Yoga Instructor and Flexibility Coach.  

Antonio is also a Certified Gravity Personal Trainer by EFI Sports Medicine, creators of the
Total Gym.  Antonio was a Senior Level Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor at
Chicago's Prestigious Lake Shore Athletic Club in Lincoln Park, where he spent 7 years on
staff and was also The Fitness Staff Supervisor for two and a half years.

Antonio works independently by visiting clients in their homes, local gyms, or outdoor public
locations.  He also conducts an outdoor fitness boot camp in Chicago.  Finally, his athletic
back round consists of 20 years of amateur wrestling, 15 years of competitive swimming
and water polo, and six years of track and field.

Antonio has been coaching athletes of all ages since 1989, when he began coaching his
first Jr High wrestling team.  Antonio has also been a recognized athletic official for the
Illinois High School Association and USA Wrestling.  He currently spends his spare time as
a volunteer coach for youth football and basketball for the Neighborhood Boys and Girls
Club located in the North Center Neighborhood.
